Guys,

My blower switch doesn't work and after removing it I find a short burn at top and on all the wiring hooked to it. This is a 1970 SS 396 El Camino with factory air (show car and everyday driver).

I have ordered a new switch and need to know the color wire code that goes to the numbered 1 thru 6 male connectors. I think I could get it close but that only counts in horse shoes.

Set a diagram of the switch wires to your email. It was for a 71 but should do the job.

Does anyone have this diagram?

My pigtail is missing where it plugs into the switch. The wires just have slide terminals on them and I need to know which wire goes to which terminals on the switch. I know tan goes on the top but am not sure about the others.

What about just a picture of the wiring pigtail/plug for a switch with heat and a/c?

I can e-mail you a diagram ( pdf format ) for a '70. The switch is the same for '70 to '72 so the wiring should be the same. PM me if you don't want to post your e-mail address
