I have an original A6 compressor in my 64 chevelle. I am looking to install a new 383 motor but it will require the tall valve covers. I am also using the short water pump setup with AC on passengers side. I am sure that people have ran into this numerous times over the years with the original brackets that limit your valve cover height, anyone know of a custom bracket or a bracket off another vehicle that will move the compressor either up or outboard, currently between the bottom of the compressor and the valve cover there is about a 1/2" clearance at best. I have searched all the bracket and pulley suppliers and everything they make is for the new sanden compressor.
