It is an SS454 with a "period correct 402"
My favorite quote though is it has "stock block color":clonk:
I bet you could trip over those tailpipes when walking behind the car. I also like the option of having the shifter outside of the console!!!

OK, what is with the VIN on this vehicle? I am not up to speed with NY automotive regulations, but the seller states,

"PLEASE NOTE: vehicle has a reassigned VIN from NY state with clear paperwork"

Based on this seller's track record, I would steer clear of this one.

If I'm correct, NY like some other states issue a new Vin for salvage vehicles.

This guy pops up from time to time selling "rarities"... Someone, anyone ask him a question, i'm sure you'll get a kick out of his answers. Pretty rude if i remember correctly. I tried to get one of his POS cars before i landed the 70 i have now. Not too bright.

This Guy works out of Queens, New York City. He sells all types of muscle cars and he's been doing it for a few years, it looks like he buys them, runs them through a car-wash, power-washes the engine and then throws them on E-bay. Every car I've seen on E-bay from this guy has been crap.

P.S. You are able to obtain a new VIN in NYS on older cars, there is alot of paper-work & waiting involved but it can be done. NYS will issue you a metallic strip of tape with the new VIN on it and you attach it to the drivers door jam.
