I like the looks of this car. Not too sure of the price, but the car is nice!

I like the car too. There are a few things I would change to make it mine. Interesting that he says previous owner added double hump heads. If an original 327 it would have had those heads. I guess he’s not necessarily claiming it to be matching numbers. I’d say 27k.

all you can do is bring a stack of cash and see how low he will go. if its not all rotted out, it looks like a great car to just buy and drive and not have to do anything to. my 66 needs paint and bodywork, its a driving work in progress, if I posted a whats it worth question here, I'd probably get a 7 to 9grand estimate on a good day, I probably wouldn't take 15k for it.
So it really depends on how bad the buyer wants it. jim

I agree, nice looking car.
From what I've seen over the past several months, that price isn't far off at all for an asking price. Everything is pricey but like Jim said above - it really depends on how bad the buyer wants it. Anything I've ran across (Chevelles, Camaros, Novas) with a reasonable price ($22K - $30K) that isn't perfect but nice, sells within a week or two and lots of times within days.

Nice looking car. Interior appears to be in great shape, paint looks good, and as long as there's no rust I'd have no complaints about it's condition. There are a few small things that caught my eye...one mismatched spark plug wire, the hose for the vacuum advance is missing from the distributor, probably still has the original manual drums based on the single-reservoir master cylinder. As a buyer, I'd want to at least see front discs and the other things might make me wonder if the current owner cut some corners anywhere else, but admittedly these things aren't really a big deal.

But man, prices are so crazy now, I don't even know what's fair anymore and what isn't. My '66 was in very comparable condition and very similarly equipped...when I bought it just 5 years ago I paid $19k and still felt like I got just an ok deal on it. $35k....really?

I don't see the price being out of range at all. If the car is a quality build, it's priced right imo. The folks on this board know all too well what a body restoration, powertrain rebuild, interior and chroming costs these days and that's only 2/3rds of the cost of getting a car to this level. Now, I am fully aware of market pricing compared to build costs, but consider I just sold a '66 SS roller in primer for $20k, and have a good offer on another SS which I'm on the fence over, I'm seeing the quality cars skyrocket in price. Good, because the market has been flat for almost 10 years.

Might not be the BEST deal, but I’ve seen less car for more money. Looks pretty solid from the pictures. It’s so difficult nowadays to put a price on these cars. They’re worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It’s like Bitcoin lol.

Neat car, has the body been off? Mechanicals and suspension all been rebuilt?
I see a place on YT Called maple motors...lots of those cars are shiny turds, seriously. They sell for the 20s pretty quick. I suspect noobs or some that dont have an eye. Cant even get 25k for mine, no way Id pay 35 for that
Its a very clean super cool car but really....drive it for a few days and you realize you paid a TON of cash for...an old car. Am I living under a rock?

You can say this to just about any car out there. Especially the new ones. Priced so high some people have to lease them. And look at the stupid prices people pay for just a phone!

Prices have gone up a lot in the past year. Certainly a lot vs 5 years ago. Is that car worth $35K? Maybe. Maybe not. For me probably closer to $30K. But cars like this don’t trade for $19K these days. Which is good and bad depending if you are a seller or buyer.
