A lawyer gets his car totalled
This is from a site frequented by lawyers and law professors. Here is a story of how this lawyer got low-balled by an insurance company and the follow up work he did to get a better deal. I think he has some good advice: check out your local markets, make sure the insurance company is valuing the correct car type and learn a bit about your state laws on insurance.
