Does anyone know how to seperate the inside cage from the front bearing without destroying the aluminum case?

I'm sorry that I don't know the details of what you are asking, but I and others typically separate the AIR pump from the car

They are delicate and I can't offer any personal experience with them, but I believe a company called ASL can. I don't have any more specifics.

There was a post about ASL a while back, and if I recall correctly, they went under. But yes, they did offer lots of detail work on smog and other underhood components.
