Many years ago I had a decent Harbor Freight air grease gun and it worked great. I loaned it to my son never to find it way back. Short story I bought another HF grease gun and it is totally useless. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced air, electric or manual grease gun that works great. Also what is with these new greases that leak oil all over my tools. I tried both Valvoline and Mobile one and both make a mess. Thanks in advance.

Lincoln air or rechargeable grease gun or Dewalt rechargeable if you use Dewalt batteries for other items. I pump a sh*t ton of grease at work on my equipment. I notice the oil leaking from the grease too. Either one will pump a tube in under a minute, well, it seems that way. I have all 3 and all work great. I started with the HF, but that was junk.

I've had the Lincoln air since 2014. Still works great. I use it the most since I have air on my machines. Replacement batteries for the rechargeables are expensive and recharging batteries a pain, so the air is what use most. The Lincoln battery unit came in a nice briefcase. The air guns came with only the gun plus parts and no case.

Found some reviews, the 2 I use are top results.Top 10 Air Grease Guns of 2021 - Best Reviews Guide

As far as a manual grease gun, we use Lincolns with the pump lever handle. The hand pump models suck unless you need a grip work out.

These grease couplers are the bomb. Well worth the high price if you grease a lot.

Al I saw the Dewalt and yes I have batteries but its very expensive, like $200+ expensive. I have used the manual pumps before but they took two hands to operate not including holding the nozzle on. Have you heard of this one? I will look into the Lincoln since I know how good my welder is. Thanks

I don't know anything about that brand. The pistol grip might work for you if you don't have to grease too much and have low pressure grease needs. For me, they suck and I'll throw them in the bushes because I have way too much grease to pump each day and many of the items greased require high pressure. That would probably work well for tie rods and such.

Well if I asked a question and then didn't take an experts advice then I would just be one stupid guy. I ordered this one Al. Thanks

Did you try the Capital one discount If not try it, it's 20 bucks, then cancel the Amazon order. Anyway, you'll have a great grease gun.
I did try it. It would have saved me 4 bucks this time so I didn't cancel but will use that for sure in the future. Thanks for the tip and the savings.

So I received the Lincoln today and it works great. I threw that HF unit in the trash. Thanks Al
