I went to the Fast Friday Street event several times in the last couple of months. Next thing I know my car showed up on their Instagram page. It's kind of a nod to all Chevelle owners so thought I would share. Too bad they're closing down after Spring Nationals. 35 years in operation and now they're turning it into an industrial park or some kind of nonsense. The next closest 1/4 mile track to Houston is 250 miles away in Dallas. Support your local track if your lucky enough to have one!

Wonder if noise complaints were a factor?

Not sure but after 35 years in operation, you would think that anybody that moved or lived nearby would certainly have been aware there is a race track there. Unless the real estate agent made sure to show the house on a non-race day.
