A few pics from last night at the Team Chevelle event in Denton (North Star Dragway)

Here are a few pics. I will post some nice video later today. I had an awesome helper doing the photos and video while I played at the track.

Had a GREAT time! Thanks to all who came. Fritz you were a great help in getting the grill for me and cooking the food. You Rock. It was nice taliking with everyone again. John, your car was awesome as usual. Jason, your car is really rocking. The Team Chevelle bracket eliminatations were a blast. I will get to work on setting up the Fall Team Chevelle event.

Does it really get that cold down there in Texas?

LOL!!!! You would be surprised the different weather this state recieves!! It was snowing from Austin to up north to Dallas Easter weekend. It was 40 on my guage in the back yard this morning.

Then in July/August, it starts to cook. 100+ easily, and SE Texas has the humidity on top of that.

I am wondering if it is just me but everytime you post pictures on Mikes Gas Logs I cannot view them. Strangely enough, I know others can. Anyways, it was a blast. I will be working on my reaction time so maybe I will get you next time. We ended up leaving after that 1st round to get the kids home. Who won the bracket race?

Frank I and II,
thanks for the high five on the grill and food. It worked out great!
I think we had a good turn out. It was chilly at 1st due to strong winds,
they did die down after sundown. Elimination was cancelled due to a camaro
hitting the railing at the end of the track. Having a cold track was making the cars get a little squirlly on the back half of the 1/8!! Luckily the guy did not get hurt and the car was not damaged to severly. The track called a night around 11 p:m.

Me too. I have the slow DSL and these pictures won't load on my computer either. I sat and waited quite a while, no pictures. I've met a few of the Team Chevelle members, but not many.

I loaded the pictures last night no problem, even on dial up. No problem today at the office on high speed either. IE 6.0.

I started to add they weren't worth looking at anyway. But I decided to be nice about it. The video has some action, but it must have been really slick, lots of peddlin goin on!

HI Fritz, I had someone else taking the pics. He did a great job. I will try to get pics of all the cars next time.
