I know this will get a mixed reception as usual, but look with an open mind, some of these cars are pretty cool.

Japanese Classic Car show in Socal. No rice here, don't worry. A lot of the cars have a very american muscle-car kinda styling to them... and some of them look like some kind of muppet bubble car.

And Molo' what ever happened to that Starion you had for a while? Maybe that wasn't you... Or was it a new-school Dodge Daytono?

Some cool cars there... I dig the early-mid 70 Celecas & 70's rotory powered Mazdas...

However I do have one comment... What the Heck is up with moving the side mirrors up onto the front fenders?? 75% of them have done that modification.
I don't care how functional it is... that just ruins what might otherwise be a pretty cool car.

Yeah I had a shelby-Z Daytona. I sold it to a guy on another forum who put in a higher temp thermo, and hot plugs. He promptly overboosted and seized the motor within 2 weeks of me selling it to him.

Although most cars shipped to the US from Japan had the mirrors mounted on the doors, mirrors were mounted way out on the fenders due to Japanese law. Don't know if that's still the case over there.

The mirrors I saw were back on the doors. However they were motorized so the driver could push a button and they would swing in towards the body. Some of the streets are so narrow that if the mirrors stick out, they get broken off the car.
