Thought I'd post this.

One of our Outlaw heads up racers. I beleive it's a 565, with a lenco to boot, and it is street driven.
Garage built by a couple of talented brothers. On ET streets.

Here it is at my track on 10.5's....you can hear the gear changes.

I'm glad I don't run outlaw!
From what they tell me, it's not even turned up yet.

I searched for almost 20 minutes and couldnt find the thread about the car over on YB. IIRC it has a 540ci conventional headed bbc with twin GT47-88's and twin a/a intercoolers. I remember that the thread on the car had some more details and a bunch of pictures but I just cant find it.

Gotta love him getting rubber in everygear...even at the 1000' in 4th!

More I examine building BB's, the more appealing turbo's are. Just keep the iron heads, and get a turbo kit. Speaking of such, anybody have any links to BBC turbo kits?

No such thing as a BBC "turbo kit". You can start at Stainless Works for headers. A little pricey but it's justifiable considering Lemmons gets $1200 for a set of custom BBC headers.... Everything else "turbo kit" related is a DYI deal. Not that hard if you can handle yourself with a welder though. Jmho

I saw that car in person at the Las Vegas finals last October or November. It's very well built and he is a super nice guy. I love 55's and was talking his ear off. I'd be tough to build that for 65K
