I know it's not about the Chevelle, but it's the tow vehicle. I noticed a short of some kind in the turn signal stalk. Turn on the turn signal, the cruise control would disengage. Then a beep would sound with the turn signals from the warning system. (only when the indicator light was on for the signal)
Now the turn signals are dead. Fuse is fine and the I replaced the flasher and still nothing. Everything else still works like windshield wipers, washers, cruise. What or where should I look?

Sorry Jimmy, I don't have any 90s stuff in my books. If nobody else shows up maybe one of the truck sites can help. If you can't find anything I'll try and whack at it but not sure how the cruise and signals are related. In the 80s they were separate circuits.

Well Jimmy, it is probably the T/S switch, the other switches are separate from the turn signal switch. We have lots of problems with the 93's that we have where I work and you probably can get a switch at the NAPA store.

Thanks guys. I'm going to try a new switch today if I can find one.

Ok, call me stupid! I was looking at the wrong fuse. The fuse is blown for the turn signals. I replaced the switch anyway. But when I put a new fuse in, it blows immediately. Even without the turn signals being on. Any ideas on that one?

Problem solved! Not easy or inexpensive either! I'm gonna kill me parts guy! When the turn signals went out, I went straight to NAPA, took out the original flasher and asked the counter dude for a replacement flasher. He took the old one and gave me a new one from a box. I put the new one in and still nothing. From there I replaced the switch and spent countless hours tracing the fuse blowing for shorts. Every time I put a new fuse in, Bam! It WAS THE WRONG FLASHER! The flasher was feeding the juice to the ground and melted the wiring harness. Had to replace 4 wires. Will NAPA compensate me? I'm going to try!
