I seem to recall this is possible, but I believe you'll need aftermarket control arms as I believe the spindle is taller.

someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Aftermarket uppers, machined lower balljoints, 1LE Camaro rotors w/ 4-3/4" bolt circle, etc... it can be done. It fixes the backward camber curve of the stock spindles for better handling, but causes steering issues such as increasing bumpsteer, widening turning radius, slowing turning ratio, and messes up ackermann.

There's better options available now from the aftermarket.

yes. If you post the VIN, there's several of us who can dissect that VIN and let you know for sure

I also took the 700r4 out for my chevelle do you think this is a stand alone tranny or do i need something else from the car for it. thanks

all you need to get that 700r4 working in the car is a stand alone tcc lockup kit if you're running carb and want the lockup to work. everything else is mechanical on that trans.
