After some rear adjustment to my Ultralink,some engine tuning and a good track,the car responded with a new best which is much closer to this cars potential.I have been struggling with this car all season trying to get it to improve 60' and ET in the first 330'.
We spread the bars on the ultralink to soften the hit on the tires and it helped improve my 60' times,although I know that with some more testing,we should be able to get a mid to high 1.20 60' out of this car.
The incrementals on the run are as follows:

Pro .400 tree

330' 3.813
660' 5.863
660' MPH 119.31
1000' 7.647
1/4 9.166
1/4 MPH 148.89

We have a race at Maple Grove on Saturday and then at Island in NJ on Sunday,so I will resume testing the week after and will post my results.

Vinny,thats flying man!!! congrats

I can't imagine wanting more but you are so close to the 8's, Guess it's only natural to keep tuning....

Ray,
If I remember didnt you go to a 4.88 gear and slow down?,then went back to a 4.56
I am considering a swap to 4.88,but I am not sure if it will help or hurt.

No, I went the other way. I went from 4.88's to 4.56's and the car slowed down. But that was last year and I made some changes that were just wrong. This year it still has the 4.56's in it and so far it's consistant 1.27-1.28 in 60'.

Nice going Vinny. :thumbsup: I take it that the track prep at Atco was pretty good. I haven't been there in awhile. It's my favorite track, but I've only been racing at two of them.
