200 hp disco wagon lol
The only way I'd buy one is if I smelled a profit on the other end . Them cars aren't worth much man
The price of these cars are on upswing. I a lot of guys my age drooled over these cars in high school; and couldn't have one then. Plus, with the price of traditional muscle cars in insanity land, a LOT of people have to look at alternatives. I personally find the Gen 3 Camaro body to be one of the top 5 all time post 1970 Chevy body styles, and like a lot of other cars, including most of ours, the performance potential is there, you just have to unlock it. I don't think it would be heresy to say that any of these cars could whip a stock Chevelle's ass in a handling and braking contest. My wife and two of my friends had V8 Sport Coupes, and my "rich" friend had an IROC, so over the years I spent a LOT of time behind the wheel and the in the passenger seat in these cars. Like most cars, they have some issues, but I love them. I have yet to find a car I could get more comfortable in for a loooong distance drive. I did MANY 14-18 hour runs in my wife's 87'.

If you are saying that you have an '86 that has the born with L98 engine I really hope you that actually have what you think you have. To my knowledge there is no hard evidence ever presented for one of these cars in the wild. If you have evidence I would love to see it, as would the rest of the Camaro world where the most revered of researchers say this car was never sold to the public. Please share pics of the car and the build data.

All this reminds me of my 85 Z28. I bought it in 89 or so. As far as I know it had the 305 with TPI. Wasn't super fast, but handled well so it was fun to drive. I also had a 78, but not at the same time. Both were stolen. Chicago.......
