I've been looking for the door top rails and can't find them anywhere, does anyone know where I can find them? It's the curved top part of the door that completes the door panels and the window felts attach too

I just checked the NPD, OPGI and Eckler's paper catalogs. One of them used to carry those but I can't find them now. I can't find my Ground Up SS396 catalog but they might have them.

Have you tried Desert Valley Auto Parts or the CTC Auto Ranch for used parts?

My rails were used parts that my EC still had that cleaned up nice in media blast and I reused them with Legendary door panels.

The 73-77 GM A-bodies (Malibu, Cutlass, Lemans, etc) are among the least desirable cars of any period. As a result, demand for replacement and/or reproduction parts is extremely limited. Even though I own a car from this generation (76 5sp Cutlass I special ordered new) I fully understand why the demand is low. As a result, finding GOOD parts------------------------ESPECIALLY INTERIOR PARTS------------ can be a real challenge.
For the 73-77 GM A-bodies, the GM designers and engineers lost their minds and did not begin to recover until about 1978.
So just keep searching and eventually you will find what you need.

Thank you for the tip! Both Desert Valley and CTC have them. Desert Valley wanted like 63 bucks each, but I had already bought them from CTC for a hundred each. I should have waited a bit but I was so excited that I found them... Lol
Thanks again!

I must be crazy then, because I think many of those cars are EXTREMELY desirable, with exception of the Monte Carlo, which I'm not a huge fan of. I like G Bodies too, but the ONLY pre 81' G body you could GIVE me would be a two door Malibu. I would also say that as a lot of other cars get priced out most people's budgets, these cars may see a real increase in demand. I had a first right of refusal on a 74' Elco myself back in the day, and got stiffed. That was 35 years ago, and I'm STILL miffed about it. :(
