Generally No

Unless its proves the engine to be a 454? But it could prove it not an SS by the engine. No 6 cyc or 307 engines would be available with the SS option. Any other engine would be available in any model so it would not prove an SS.

SS was only available with an optional extra cost engine and trans, the 6 and 307 were base engines only and never were installed with SS equipment contray to all the rumors.

The 454 was only available with the SS option
