i have just bought a 72 wagon that the previous owner had installed a 70 front end on - without wiring - has anybody done thes conversion that can let me know what they did to convert to the 4 headlight system? any info will be appreciated

I think it would be easiest to find a 70 lighting wiring harness. There are two sections to the engine side bulkhead harness plug. Ithink 1 is engine/charging wiring and the other is lighting.

I believe the main differenc eis the dual head lights on a 70 and reworking the turn siignal lamps to the fenders.

Cheapest bet would be to get a wiring digram from each year and go fromthere. I would suggest using relays to power the headlights, like fromMAD Enterprises.

just cut the high beam wire from the 3 prong plug, put a 1/4in. female connector on it run it to the high beam light and hood up the other prong to a ground. Jim
