Hello,

New to group. getting ready to install a stroked LS2 with a Tremec 6spd into my 72 Chevelle. Does anyone have a recomendation for an oil pan that would work for this?

Thank you in advance!!

I suggest using all of the Holley LS swap parts for your project since they are designed to work together. Seven years ago, when I did my LS swap into my '66, it was a challenge piecing together parts from different vendors! Good luck on the swap, I predict you're going to love the final result!

I have the Holley/Hooker Forward mount system long with the 302-3 pan and everything fits NICE and tight. I have a 4L80e behind my 408 LQ4 though.

The Holley / Hooker Blackheart headers also fit an A-body perfectly. No beating with big hammers or cuss words required. And already plumbed for oxygen sensor fittings.

I'll add that the Flowmaster (another Holley brand) LS swap headers fit great with my combo, nice and tight to the floor boards. Only 1 3/4 though VS the Hooker 1 7/8 though.

Another Holley pan fan here. I did my swap 10 years ago before the complete Holley kit was out but if I did it again I would definitely go with it.

Tell us about the build. Stroked LS’s are fun.

Thank you for all of the replies. looks like Holley is the way to go.
Recently finished a 1966 Dodge with and LS6 swap. This Chevelle is just a nicely painted shell. Needs everything still. I have a strocked LS2 with Ls3 Heads and a Tremec 6 speed. Hoping to start puttting it together in August.

Im glad I found this forum with people who whave done what I'm looking tio do.

Thank you!
