Hi, I've recently picked up an engine out of a 72 chevy. I've looked through all of my books but I can't find a complete engine identification breakdown for a 72. The engine # is V0120CMJ. I know all the information from the # except the last 2 digits, which I believe are displacement and hp. I do know that the engine is a 350 and I believe that in 72, 350's were either 270 hp or 330 hp. Could someone please tell me which hp the engine is? thanks alot.

CMJ shows up as a 1974 350 4bbl engine, 160HP..are you sure this is the original engine from that 72 vehicle? What is the casting date on the rear of the block?
