I have just replaced all the bushings -ball joints -inner and outer tie rod ends. Allingment checked. The problem is it feels like the rear end is "waiving "around when I am going in a straight line. At hwy speeds it feels like the car is in a wind storm and you have to be very careful to keep it straight.
What am I missing?

No snow tires. The steering was getting real strange berfore the new install. I just took it for granted that it was the shot front end. I am going to check the bushings in the rear trailing arms next.

My 77 suburban was like that, but they are prone to crack the frame where the steering box mounts. Scared the crap out of me when I saw how badly it was cracked. I ended up parting it out. Jim
