I have this 72 El Camino I brought it new.Which is the best way to bring the front seat back
to orignal condition? should I get seat covers from one of the restoration parts houses.Any recomendations.thanks
If you are looking for "original" then I would go with one of the aftermarket suppliers of original seat covers.
It is alot more costly to have a upholstery shop make up a set of original covers.
I have been in the upholstery business for 20 years and am comptemplating buying a set for my 72 Elky to modify for my self because I don't what to spend the time to make the covers up for what the repo guys sell them for.......
If you check out this sight...most of the guys seem to like PUI covers.
I deal with the El Camino Store here in my home town...but I havn't looked at their covers upclose and I don't have any info on how they fit... May someone else will chime in
