Duh, didn't even think to look in the Hollander book. Anyone have thoughts on crossbracing the hard top body for rigidity if cutting off the roof?
72 convertible vs. hardtop
I assume (?) the 72 convertible frame is different from the hard top frame like earlier years where the convertible frame is boxed; am I correct?
Are there other structual differences between the convertible and hard top? Any structual crossbracing, etc.?
A gentleman wrote me asking this as he's contemplating cutting the top off a hardtop and turn it into, essentially, a roadster. Don't ask me why...
