I am replacing the original power brake booster on my 72 Malibu Convertible with a gold cad unit.
How do I measure the original booster? The outside case measures 10" in diameter.
Is this a 9" or 11" unit? It's a J50 RPO option.
Thanks for your help.

There are places that replate and rebuild them! Send it out and keep your original if it is original!

When you look at your booster from the left fT. fender,, At about 10 o/clock you will see a number STAMPED on one of the tabs, That is the Julian date code. KEEP your ORG. send it to Steve Gregory in Calif. and have it rebuilt. You will be glad you did!
