Recently came across a photo of a 70 chevelle where they just installed carpet. Thought nothing of it until I saw where the carpet met the firewall on the passenger side, it looks like the carpet had some sort of panel that it went under and looked very clean. I thought the carpet just laid there on the passenger side and went under the little plastic panel on the drive side. Is this just a 70 thing? I never liked the fact that the carpet just laid there on passenger side so curious if I'm missing something.
