Hello gents,
Looking for advice from anyone who successfully installed a Big Block into a 71 or 72 and used aftermarket heads that came with .375" raised exhaust ports (like an Air Flow Research head or similar) and had success using headers that allowed the continued use of the column shifted automatic transmission linkage? I am starting to see issues if I try to squeeze this modified engine in with headers and retain the column shifter. I am looking for that factory look from the inside of the cockpit and didnt want a B&M shifter sticking up in front of the bench seat. The wife would catch on that I swapped out her 2 barrel 350 for a 489 BB-LOL!
