I am getting kinda confused when trying to decide what brakes to purchase for my 72. I need 12 or 13" rotors and I want cross drilled and slotted. I'm gonna make alot of power eventually (hopefully). I like the Baer's but obviously they are expensive , it looks like almost 3 grand. Is there anything cheaper? True-connections has the Willwoods for about 2 grand, but they don't have a spindle for 2" drop with the Willwood's.

I will need a specific spindle built specifically for which type of brakes I get correct? So, like with the willwood's that won't work if I want to 2" drop with the spindle.

Also, will any power booster work with any brakes I buy?

Thanks

Check out CPP. Their prices seem pretty reasonable and they have complete kits. They also claim to use components off normal GM cars so parts will always be readily available.
I got my rear brake conversion off of e-bay from Matt's Classic Bowtie Restorations. Good prices and also uses new common parts from big cars ('79 Caddy). Others on this site have given some good feedback about both sellers.
Also, look at the sticky message on this forum...lots of good info there.
