I agree with Dean. I think that 68-70 had a hole near the front for the parking light wires to go through and the 71-72 did not. But they are interchangeable.
Also the 70-72 Monte inner fenders are the same. Montes had an extension bolted on to the front of the inner fender well.

Thanx guys!
I'm trying to get the 71' put back together. Right now it has plastic inner fenders and they are in bad shape. I've picked out the paint color (Champagne Gold....Same as Bill Taylors 70' "Bertha" seen in featured Chevelles)and have a guy commited to painting her. I'll get some "before" pics posted soon. It looks like she is going to be a pretty sweet ride.
