I've got an easy one, but to double check.
I've got a 71 guage harness with a 3-wire connector for the wiper switch mounted in a 72 guage dash with a 4-prong switch. looking at 72 schematic, the fourth prong is a ground. can i use the existing switch? I've searched previous posts but couldn't find the answer.

Thanks

connector fits,
but not sure if wires correspond to correct lug on switch. anybody got the correct color code for a 71 wire harness wiper and for a 72 wiper switch?
Thanks

This pic shows the correct orentation of the 72 switch connector on a 69-71 switch. The lower black wire is the switch ground, the other three are the same for all years. The switch needs to be grounded, a wire from the metal cluster back to one the switch mounting screws or clip the lower black wire from the connector, crimp on a ring lug and attach under a mounting screw.
