71 dash gauge lens

Some moron at some earlier time in my Chevelle's life decided to tint the dash lens blue - the one the sweep (non SS) speedo is behind.

How hard is it to get this lens out and replace it or fix it ?
Do you have to take the whole dash out ? In that case I might get to like the blue for awhile !!

Are you sure it wasn't blue from the factory? I thought the night illumination was that color?

What I meant was yes, the gauge illumination. For the '71 and '72 models it's a bluish color and the '70 models and before had green. Just curious because I never heard of anyone tinting something like that before.
