A couple years ago I located a source of the NOS cloth used on the seat covers.
Now we need to recover our '71 Malibu front bench which has the cloth insert. The rear covers are nice. I can't remember where that was.

I have checked with one of the big suppliers for their repopped seat covers and discounts don't apply to black covers. And their price with out any discount is higher than what we want to spend.
Does anyone have a solution? I could possibly have a cover done locally if I can find the fabric.

Call PUI and ask if they will sell you the fabric. I believe they have all that stuff...

I posted a similar question awhile back, as I have a 72 with a blue bench seat that is vinyl/cloth. Someone posted a vendor that sold the seat covers (maybe it was NPD?) but just the front seat cover was $650! I am going to swap over to a black vinyl interior for about the same cost as just the seat cover.

Dave, I remember your post, just couldn't find it.

I bought a vinyl set a while back and put in on a different rear core. We opted to use that set in a different car and keep looking for cloth.
