I have a 71 c10 1/2ton light duty stepside, it look's like a regular 5 on 5 pattern, any of you guys know what rims will fit? I tried a Corvette 15x8 ralley the lug holes line up but it won't fit over the center hub, if I order a set of Cragar SS rim's do I have to specify truck?
Thank You for your time.

Majority of the Chevrolet car pattern is 5 x 4 3/4, while a Chevy truck in 5 x 5. Early '70's Impala shares a truck pattern, and a few others. You have to specify a 2 wd. or C-10 Chevy truck when ordering. The 4 x 4 is different also, it is a 6 lug pattern, and is a K-10.

94-96 Impala SS wheels look pretty good on those trucks if they are lowered a little bit, but a cheaper alternative is the 80's truck 15X8 rally wheels.
any GM fullsize car with the HD suspension has the bolt pattern and hub diameter you need- something like an Impala or Caprice wagon built from the early 70's to the 90's. fullsize Ford cars of the 70's also have the 5X5 pattern, too.

one quick question about the 67-72 trucks, if anyone knows- what was the difference between the 1/2 ton 2wd truck that had the 5 lug pattern and the 1/2 ton 2wd trucks with the 6 lug pattern? in the early 90's, my grandpa gave me his trusty well used '70 1/2 ton 2wd long box truck and it had 6 lug wheels on it. was that because it had the "truck arm" coil spring rear suspension instead of leaf springs?

I thought they switched in 71 to 5 lug? And yes, 5 on 5

I have a set of nice 15x8 truck rallys for sale, Sandblasted and painted with automotive urathane (silver) and a brand new set of the deep trim rings if anyone is interested. (no center caps) Never had a tire on them after being painted.

Thank's for the replies, not sure what wheels are on there now, something just doesn't look right, don't know if it's the tire size or the rim might not be deep enough the tires are 225's

those look like later rally wheels- but the 225's are a bit tiny. a 275/60 looks small on a vehicle that size.

The rims that are on there came in 6" & 7" - Run some 275/60's on a 8" rim and it will look a whole lot better, Dropping it a couple inches wouldn't hurt either.
