What about a 71 with orig. Ca. tank where it reads at the 3 o'clock position when full, and 1/4 (9 o'clock) when getting close to empty, anything to do with the filler neck?
So that is what is going on - I have been fooling around with the ground, not been able to figure it out. So, drain it - drop it - bend it - now will read correctly again. Thanks for the info.
