I have a 70' Chevelle wagon. Relatively rust free except for the spare tire well which is practically disintegrated due to road debris, gravel and rust.

Have any of you found a good replacement part that will easily work to replace a rusted spare tire well? I am not much of a fabricator, I would like something that would be a natural looking fit, not necessarily a perfect OE part.

The last thing I would want to do would be to eliminate the tire well with a flat patch.

Don't think a junk yard would be nuch help,

Thanks Mike. I will take some measurements when I get home and see if one of Ecklers will work. Definitely better than using a trailer fender or some such piece.

I am sure I am not the first one to encounter this problem.
