70 SS Dash Problems

I went to screw on all the parts of my dash yesterday when I ran in to a bit of a problem. With the Heater control, I went to screw it in and on the gauge side there are Molded mounts on the dash but on the Glove box side there is nothing. There are two molded areas that look like some form of clips would go into. Am I missing something? it is driving me nuts

I agree--All years from Neb. is the most honest parts guy on the planet!!!!!
Bought a 4 speed cross member from him,He sent it and said "If its OK send me the money " WHO do you know will sell parts like this???
