Members: I have a 70 SS and have some new NOS SS and 454 emblems to replace the 41 year old originals. My question is do I have to remove the fender wells to get at the attaching nuts or is there a better way. Thanks for any tips.

You will have to loosen the inner fender bolts, and the two at the bottom, and you may be able to pull the fender out enought to get your hand in there to loosen the nuts. If not you will have to take the inner fender off. I was able to get the Olds emblems off by just loosing the bolts, I bet you can do it on the Chevelle also.

I was wondering how tiny a hand would be needed for this task. I have to replace the heater core so the passenger fenderwell has to come off anyway. I will try to loosen the two bolts on the other side fender. Thanks again.
