Don't walk, but run from listings like this. 20+ pictures yet not 1 of the build sheet or 1 of the vin pad, what's that telling you. Most sellers if they have even half a brain will lay all the cards on the table for all to see. Appparently, this isn't the case here. Based on just the pictures in the listing and with no further info or pictures, maybe 15K. JMO

Why did he have to find out the axle ratio the hard way if he has the buildsheet?

For me nothing really wrong with his ad. It does however leave so much unanswered that it should receive a personal inspection. I am beginning to run out of sympathy for people that buy cars sight unseen and when they get them home whine about the car not being as advertised. The emotional rush that E-Bay puts people in allows them to get careless in their decision making.

Should not be real hard to verify the claims made on this car. It either is or ain't and should be bought that way.

that intake is an Edelbrock Torker 2-0 which means it fits oval port heads.
Looks like a clean cruise night car...I wouldn't pay a premium for it and I would certainly look at it in person.
SS wheels and ALOT of underhood detailing would go along way on this car and keep you busy if you want factory correct.

...buying a car like this sight unseen is like congress passing bills that it doesn't read :D

Well, I spoke to the guy last night and he said that as far as he's concerned the car is real. He will email me the build sheet but I feel that a personal inspection is necessary. He may modify his ad later after he has his son document the numbers. He wants 24K to end the auction.

My question would be, why did they put a vinyl top on a non-vinyl top car???? What is hiding under that new top????

THe color doesn't look like Champagne GOld to me, either. Or Autumn GOld. Or Desert Sand..... kinda like a mix of all three.....

Steve,I am no where near as qualified as the guys here on T/C. From what I can see,and what I have read about this Chevelle,I would definitely look somewhere else. That's my opinion...Bob
