Need some advice on how to repair my drivers door side mirror on my 70 Chevelle SS it's loose where the swivel is and moves when I open or close the door. Is thre a fix for this? Or should I just replace it. It's the orginal GM single chrome one. Thanks Dave

You can try to put a small amount of trim adhesive on the tip of a small flat blade screwdriver and rub it on the area of the swivel. It will stiffen it up so it wont flop around when you close your door. It should do the job and its colorless and if you dont gob alot on it wont be noticed.
