There wouldn't be a pump to carb rubber fuel line from the factory. It's too risky. It should be all steel, and the filter would be in the carb inlet.

It's all very clear in the assembly manual which can be purchased from any of the Chevelle venders. The fuel line you need is also sold by venders like Ground-Up.

OK, both are on their way. I am thinkin I will put an inline filter back by the tank since there is already rubber hose there and it is outta sight to all but the gophers. Thanx again.
