Agree. Something wrong here. Looks like a $40,000 or better car.I say scam. Price seems to good to be true.
Does this service give you the complete history of a car, or is it just going to tell me that I have owned my car since 1988?Cheaper/safer to get a VIN report... VINData Vehicle History
That one I never used, I live in the Toronto area and have to purchase a UVIP (Used Vehicle Information Package) for $20cdn. It contains a description of a vehicle and its Ontario history. As the seller, you are legally required to provide this package to a buyer when you sell a pre-owned vehicle. For newer cars also provides the market value that you will be judged on when you pay your 13% HST taxes.Does this service give you the complete history of a car, or is it just going to tell me that I have owned my car since 1988?
I tried one for fun a couple years ago, I knew it was a scam, but wanted to see what reactions I could get from them. The car was 4500km from me, could only converse by email, she had a sad story to get me to emphasize with her husbands radiation treatments while she was in Ottawa ON while the car was back home in Vancouver BC. She wanted a down payment of $5K by paypal. She would provide the transportation from BC to my house free of charge and collect the balance upon delivery. As soon as she said she was back home in BC I told her I was 20 minutes away from the location of the car and wanted to see it first. That was the last I heard from them. How does the scam work?
It's been converted to a 4 speed manual trans. In the Vanguard ad, it states, "The original numbers matching Turbo 400 transmission is included in the sale as well. "The build sheet that was in the pic showed an M40 3 speed (AUTO) ?
