I was just looking over the instructions to convert over to full factory gauges. I have the LS6 gauge cluster with the wiring harness ready to go. My question is, are there any changes that have to be made to the harnesses under the hood? On the one illustration of the bulkhead connector on the outer part of the firewall, the only thing I can see that is different from the idiot lights from the gauges is the addition of the wires for the amp gauge. Is this correct?

Yes that is correct the only changes under the hood are the addtion of the two amp wires. One to the horn relay and one to the radiator support battery terminal. I don't remember if they tell you or not but it is a good idea to fuse these wires or use fuseable links.
