Please describe the difference between Deluxe vs. Standard seatbelts in a 1970 bucket seat SS EL Camino? Also, my Elky came with shoulder harness belts & deluxe lap belts as well. Please describe (buckle size, Mini or large, female type) for the deluxe lap belt with the shoulder harness vs. standard belt?

I am missing the lap belts but have the shoulder harness belts with buckle. Both of my shoulder harness tag reads GM Hamill Model # 1955 4 C 70 and have the larger buckle. I have a lap belt (not sure if it came from my Elky) with GM Hamill Model # 1913 20 E 70 with the same sze buckle as the shoulder harness set

Thanks for your help.

My '70 El Camino has deluxe seatbelts. Description: square metal shiny w/ a blue GM in the middle. The female receiver for the shoulder harness is about 2 inches square. The shoulder harness male end is about an inch and a half across. That belt attaches to the sail panel. The lap belt male goes inside the retracter cover by the door and is smaller, about an inch or so square. The female end, approximately the same size, bolts to the tunnel behind the seat, and comes up, just like the female end for the shoulder harness. To have a complete set, you should have four belts and a retractor cover per side. ANd there should be 2 clips per side above the door to hold the shoulder harness belt.

Mike;

So the lap belts (female buckle & male retractor side) are smaller than the shoulder harness female buckle?

Does the lap belt on the female buckle side bolted to the tunnel have an adjustment slide or is it stitched to a stationary belt strap with a fixed length?

As you recall, I have bucket seats in my 70 Elky. Could you send me a couple of photo's?

Thanks

Answer too the first part.Yes the male and female of the lap belt are the smaller of two.
Answer part two.The female lap belt and the female shoulder harness share a common mount on the tunnel. The Female shoulder harness is adjustable by the buckle.Hope this helps.
