I'm restoring a 70 Chevelle. Both rear quarters have been removed for replacement as well as the front and rear wheel wells. Before putting the rear wheel wells on I have access to the interior of the rocker panels and am thinking I should try to coat the inside with a rust preventer and or paint. What have others done? This would require using some type of a wand to spray the interior from access points at the front and rear of the rockers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I bought some of that Frame Interior Sealer. It comes with a 6 foot hose and a nozzle that sprays four ways at the same time. That will pretty well blanket those areas.

not sure if you can do this but my cousin is building a car, the body shop that broke it down sent it to be media blasted, then they powder coat the whole car with a low bake primer that gets into all the crevasse. Then you re assemble from there with everything coated and it's weldable.

That amber undercoat has a 360 degree stay tip with a long hose that works well. I don't remember what brand but my body shop guy uses it.

What I would do. Spray it full of epoxy, til it leaks out of the seems.
Do any welding.
pump it full of epoxy again.
once car is painted use a cavity wax like 3m rust fighter I.
pump it full of cavity wax til comes out of the seems.

Trying to paint over cavity waxed panels is not a easy task. Typically done after the Car is painted.
