I figured the glass, frame, and body parts, and Trim were worth the 1K alone... Its hard to tell on rust from those pictures. Crappy paint? yes, But the only rust I see in the pictures is on the trunklid right in the middle, and that could be just from bare metal. If I had room I'd pick it up. Be a good parts car.
