1970 chevelle with 350 crate motor when you turn off car the fuel in the filter drains back down fuel line. this the same car with the filter not filling up when running check and replaced all rubber lines , new clamps, new fuel filter now it's draining back down the line when shut off. I believe this car hates me my Bosses other A bodies are not doing this stuff just this car. any help would be great thanks

Have you checked the fuel pressure ?

You can disconnect the fuel line and run it into a bucket and have someone crank the engine. You should get a strong jet of fuel.

If not, the fuel pickup in the tank could be blocked (a collapsed sock on the fuel pickup). Or the fuel pump could be bad, etc.
