My friend Scott just bought this 70 Chevelle posted here in the classified section. It 's a very nice turn key driver. Solid body, nice paint, 454 crate, 4 speed, posi rear and good colors. It was bought just shy of the asking price and it's just what my friend was looking for, a good running, solid driver not needing 10K in work delivered off the trailer. He'll probably add aftermarket AC and maybe buckets down the road. After weeding through a lot of junk on Ebay, this was a very good deal for him for the number. A special Thanks to "BulkSS" Mike, for taking a look at this car in person. As it was my friends' first long distance purchase, his eyes sealed the deal!!!!!

I have wondered why so many make buying a car so difficult. This nice buy was right here in front of us. Nice car bought at good value.

For all you guys that think your car has to be bought in your backyard this is why you do not succeed. When you involve good members like this buyer did the car gets looked at without rose colored glasses or emotion, just what is in front of them.

Job well done guys.

We were very fortunate John, that Mike "BulkSS" offered a helping hand here with this car. It offered Scott a comfort zone he wouldn't have had. Myself, I would have pulled the trigger sight unseen as the seller seemed very honest in his description on the phone and the other pictures didn't throw any red flags. The paint/body was my main concern, having no orange peel, being solid and as good as it looked in the pictures. It's obviously not a numbers car with paperwork but he didn't pay that kind of money for the car. It's mechanically and physically sound, a nice turn key driver, which is what he was looking for. Cars of this quality are routinely in the low 30K range on Ebay and more if they're in the hands of a dealer from my experience. I couldn't have built him this car for the money.
