In Paul Herd's restoration guide, it lists 2 different blues for code 765 blue interior - Medium Blue and Dark Blue. In the text of that chapter, it states that the lower dash "was painted in a 30 degree gloss finish of the same color ("matching the interior trim" is implied from an earlier sentence).

A PO (prior owner) had dyed the door panels a dark blue. I assumed that he had also dyed the dash and console because one of the resto-parts suppliers had sold me a bright blue to paint my new console door. It didn't match.

My questions:
Which blue is the lower dash supposed to be?
Which blue is the dash pad supposed to be?
Which blue is the console supposed to be?

Thanks for any and all feedback.

I'm almost positive the bright blue is the correct color for your interior, not the other colors you have. Not sure about your questions though, sorry.
