I have a 70 chevelle that is a factory ac car, and i'm going with the vintage air unit, so what would be a good ballpark to ask for the old stuff? It looks like it's all there, can't say for sure if it works or not. Any help will be appreciated. :beers:

I have had my old AC boxes (both sides of firewall) on and off CL in my area for almost a year. I have had no hits other than the scammers.

why do you want to go with vintage air? Not that its not a good system.I installed one in a 66 vette and it works great.I have a 70 SS with factory AC (R12) system Its ice cold with great air delivery.I would not think of swapping it for a vintage.Again its a good system but factory chevelle ice is hard to beat !

I have a 72 Chevelle that is a factory AC car and I ripped most of the stuff out years ago like an idiot when all I wanted was a hot rod. I never messed with the stuff inside, just everything outside the drivers compartment is gone. all of it. Once you decide what you will take for the stuff let me know. I would love to get mine hooked back up now that I'm older and wiser....DUMB stuff we do and regret later....

I want to smooth the firewall out, and don't want that bulky mess showing. Todd, pm me what you think the stuff is worth and we'll go from there. i know I have a ton of metal to buy, so every little bit helps

That's why I took mine off....I made a nice cover from a non ac heater box. Used the car as a street strip car so I didn't care about that crap and that box was a nuisance. Now I'm older and have a race car I want to make this thing nice....Anyone have a suggestion on a fair price. I still have my box but it is broken. I tossed everything else outside the drivers cabin. I still have the inside box and ductwork.
