mine is 738 also..Help norman..:hurray:I have the same problem. My 70 a/c compressor is original and the decal matches my build sheet code, 738. My decal is also longer than the ones that are available today. I can't even find one with the code 738.

Model # 591068 #688. I have no reason to beleive this is not the original compresser as all the lines are original and date coded fittings. I asked a guy I know who worked on the line in Arlington and he said its VERY possible as they dont stop a line if there out of a part. What does everyone think of this Model# ????? Books say 69. I have a lot of dated parts late 69 as my car was built 1/21/70 I would love to hear some feedback from others. Norman:beers:
