I have a clock out of a 71 chevelle that I want to test. I feel dumb for asking this, but what's the easiest way to test it now that it's out of the cluster? The car it came from was not operable, so it couldn't be tested. I only see one lead on the back, so I'd assume I only need to touch 12 volts to it, but I don't want to ruin it.

I seem to recall that there are 2 leads off the clock. Probably mistaken again and hopefully someone will correct me. Best I can do is check later on tonight at a loose harness and clock I have from a 72 Malibu to see what that has.
